Someone had to say it ..READ THIS!
I'm not sure if I agree with absolutely everything DJ Shadow says in this link, and he certainly was an uptight nong when I played with him... but reading this is like a breath of fresh air. Tap of the trilby to the excellent King Midas Sound blog for hipping me to this raft of home truths virtually no-one is admitting, and also to DJ Shadow for standing up and saying what so many have been thinking and knowing.
